On the Separation Everytime We Had

A close kin pointed out that I have this habit of turning back and look for my loved ones, every time I crossed the Security check into the immigration gates at the airports. That look that I had on my face, according to her, was nothing words  could describe; the longing, the unspoken love, and the unwillingness in the Separation.

Seconds after I Walked past the security officer at KLIA2 tonight, I turned around as I walked, and saw you standing there. I held my hands up high and gave you a gentle wave. And you did the same with your right hand, with that cup of hot chamomile tea from Starbucks that I failed to drink in your left hand. As I paced towards the automated gate, you too turned around, as you prepared to head in the opposite direction...
