50 (mostly) productive things to do instead of spending money….

When my children tell me that they’re Bored I’ve always told them to go and find something to do and if they can’t then they need to go and choose something from their bored jar to do (we have a tween bored jar now that they’re older).  With all of the books, games and technology we have in our house, there’s absolutely no reason why either of them should be bored.

I suppose the same goes for me, there’s no reason why I should be bored either, is there?  But sometimes, and please don’t tell the kids this, sometimes I feel a little bit bored too except I don’t have a bored jar to turn to and a lot of the things that I would like to do cost money which I’m trying very hard not to spend too much of right now.

That’s where my little list of things to do instead of spending money comes in handy!  It’s filled with things that I could be doing instead of sitting there bored and trying to think of something to be doing – it’s almost like an adult bored jar.
