Vegetable Curries/Fries

Alu Fry

Process:
  • Cut the potatoes into small cubes and soak them in water.
  • Cut the onions lengthwise and halve them again
  • In a deep wok - pour canola oil and let it heat through
  • Add the potatoes and deep fry them and remove them when they are floating to the top. Drain them on a paper towel. Add salt and keep them aside.
  • In a skillet, heat 1 spoon of oil - fry the Onions Till they are light brown with a pinch of salt.
  • Now, add the potatoes, chilly powder and mix everything together.
  • Adjust the salt and remove from heat.

This curry is a perfect side dish for any rice item.
