Every indicator we have shows us at 50/50, which is not where I want to be this close. If we win, I'll know why: because I'm a damn genius. After pushing an angle for nearly six weeks, when all options were becoming bleak, my superiors (loosely used) decided to let me run with it. It may be too little too late, but so far, its the only thing moving numbers in our favor.
God I want this one, so bad I can taste it...
In other news, I had a nice date with S on Saturday night. Had a couple drinks at a local favorite and then spent a few hours at my place. She lets me be myself, which is a rareity, considering how few people can truly stand my inflated ego. It is a blast to have a string free relationship, we talk, we drink, we have sex: and that is about as far as our obligations take us. It definitely works for me right now, but I think it will lose its merit when I meet someone I can connect with in a more meaningful way.
Anyway, untill there is more to report: onward towards victory, I hope.
