The first spell I ever made. The little girl in the Wendy House probably looking for a toy bat, I was maybe 8, could have been younger. I never chose to be a witch, I just am 😄

As simplistic as this lost spell is, it never fails me. I've thought of changing it to something more polished over the years but nothing else works for me like this does. Why change something that always works? Besides, polished and me don't go together, I'm much more a free flowing see what happens spirit.

I have used this spell so many times. I'd love to give you hundreds of examples but I really don't recall. The last time it was used was for My Boy who had lost... (maybe it should used it on my memory!) I'm not sure but it was two or three things. I don't even need to say this out loud so he didn't even know I'd done it. Sure enough within five minutes he had found all the things he was looking for.

I do remember a sunglasses find because it was quite memorable. It was late at night / early hours of the morning (my most alert time) and my hay fever was acting up. I think I may have been working because the screen was hurting my already sore eyes, so I reached for my sunglasses in the place I usually keep them. They weren't there.

Boy was asleep in bed so I quietly looked in the bedroom where the only other place I would put them could possibly be. Not there. This for reference is in front of the TV. As I walked away from the TV and out of the bedroom I said my lost spell in my head and came downstairs. As soon as I reached the bottom step instinct tells me to go look again. I do and there in front of the TV are my sunglasses.

There's no flair to this, nothing else needed but intention and those words for me. I don't need to light candles, use my wand or grind up some herbs to create something - all of which I do for other purposes - I just do the same as I did when I was that little girl in her Wendy House who made it up as she went along. And it works every time!

That certainly proves to me that the magick is very much within us and not the tools we use 🌌
