Let's see..Shawn and I are headed to Spokane, WA Friday after work for our annual Labor Day long weekend spa trip.  I always request that corner room with the shower with tons of shower heads and manual water temp setting.  Keep the gross tub jets, I'll take the shower.  Shawn was contacted by Amazon in Seattle about an Engineering job there, so guess where we might be moving if all goes well?  My favorite part of the country, Pacific Northwest baby!  Within a short drive to my Oregon coast that I explored top to bottom and Washington State, where I've covered a ton of ground, and adore the 4 hour train ride to Vancouver, Canada or the 3 hour cruise to Victoria, Canada that I enjoyed with my sister Barbara and ex but now best friend Tammi (who works at your local gas station in Inola, Ok).  I love that I could be within a stones throw of La Push/Forks and Cannon Beach, Oregon.  My first love Don lives in Portland, Oregon now and that's only 3 hours from Seattle.  Shawn says if we relocate I can pick the house, but I cannot go over the 500k budget.  Uh, SOLD.  Shawn's parents arrive next Thursday from Wichita Falls, Texas for a brief visit and then I am flying my other bestie, Theresa in from Tulsa, Ok for 8 nights and 9 days of a whirlwind Montana tour.  Glacier and Yellowstone here we come!  I am really excited to show another Oklahoman why they should relocate to Montana.  We finally found a contractor and engineer who'd take down our basement load bearing wall and replace it with a steel beam so that we have an open concept completed basement replete with guest bedroom and bath and laundry room and sports equipment room.  We bought a beautiful table that seats 12 easily, so I cannot wait to have game night!

So the adoption process continues.  My dreams of a daughter by the end of last year came and went, and we are steadily approaching the end of 2018 and no daughter.  When will I have that family I've dreamt of all these years.  I've made every conceivable sacrifice to fulfill my hearts desire to have my own family.  We continue to improve upon the house until the day comes where we get that call.
