So much snow

As I sit here in my newly remodeled dining room/kitchen writing this post on my new OMEN with my super slick curved Samsung Series Curved Monitor I'm listening to Bruno Mars-Finesse on my sold separately Powerful Speaker System.  The Snow is certainly piling up here in Helena, Montana!  We got in last night from Great Falls, Montana where our annual Hockey and Hops coed tournament is played and where my husband Shawn plays #19, where we yet again came in second in the championship game to the Canadian Curious George Team.  That team has swept every single game in the tournament weekend they've played and ultimately the championship for four years in a row, with our team ALWAYS meeting them at the end of the tournament weekend in the chipper and placing second.  Tournament officials decided last night after their fourth consecutive win, that their team MUST advance to the next league up, so that the other teams stand a chance of winning in this class.  So next year, look out!

We have several feet of snow outside our front door and more on the way.  I personally adore snow, however I am not a fan of driving through the canyons and over the mountain passes here in Montana where the roads are exceedingly treacherous.  I love sitting here with my Starbucks mocha coffee looking out my front picture window at a snow covered Mount Helena.

I plan on starting on my novel later this afternoon.  I've gone back and forth between writing a story about the day my father was killed or a series of books about a character based on me and the loves of her life.  I've always said that God has put a few amazing loves in my life.  The kind of love and memories that you look back on and smile and laugh and often blush because of the fun you had and things you did together.  Thanks to social media I've been lucky enough to reconnect with those loves and find them happy and married with families no worse for the wear.  Luckily, my husband isn't the jealous type and understands that connections to someone like me, with my history and background is vital.  It is so easy to feel disconnected in a world that can at any moment, feel small and vast at the same time depending on your perspective and mood.  I'll change the names of course to protect the not so innocent and take creative license when deemed appropriate, but not all the stories will or should have a happy ending.

I plan on purchasing a pair of Tieks before my vacation to Seattle on March 25-31with my sister Barbara Marie and my bestie Tamara.  I understand that although they're slightly pricy, they are infinitely worth it when you desire comfort and style simultaneously. This blog is after all, about spending a few extra dollars on something that pampers you, as well as being functional and necessary.  If you don't take care of your unit, why on Earth would you expect it to take care of you?
