I am in the habit of using Canva for easily customizable images. I use this for my official work and when working on my blog. Recently, I came across this template and found the words rather well chosen. I keep using this term – Brutally Honest – and many of my team members can spot that I am on the verge of repeating it. This got me thinking about the title and I must say that there is a lot that this message relays. For starters, we are living in an era where people are more about external appearances and superficial flavours are trending. Staying true to your recipe and holding on to it in the face of people elbowing you, preaching you, is rather difficult. I have managed to be honest in a big way. As a prospective groom, I had some serious confessions to make and I was candid about my shortcomings. When it came to being a good son, I was upfront in accepting that I have been quite exceptional. I accept my moderate success rate at achieving anything in life and embrace my slower-than-tortoise approach to life. Should there be a ‘Stay Honest Day’ since we do have some not-so-brilliant social events like Valentine’s Day?
