Lovely Lambertville!

Lambertville, New Jersey is located on the Delaware River in the heart of the Garden State. Fitting neither quite into the stereotype of north Jersey or south Jersey and far removed from the residents being able to answer the infamous question of “which exit?” – referring to the I-95 corridor which cuts across the state running north to south or vice versa. The Interstate traverses from Trenton in the south to Newark in the north before escaping…ooops meant crossing over the George Washington bridge into NYC. It has the reputation for being a haven to artists and antiques dealers and has made it into the top 15 prettiest cities in Forbes Magazine.

We were lucky enough to move here late in 2013 and now could not imagine living any where else. There is a lot to be said for parking the car on a Friday night and not having to move it again until leaving for work on Monday morning.

Oh. and there’s more….. a sister city on the Pennsylvania side of the river a quick hop, skip and jump over the bridge – New Hope. Filled with interesting bars and restaurants with a healthy music scene. The perfect yin to the yang of Lambertville. Complementing in such a way to make the whole greater than the two halves.
