Let's talk skin!
Who hates spots? I can tell you I do and maybe about 99.9% of other people will agree with me. I've recently suffered from spots developing all on the right side of my cheek, and I’m not going to lie, I have no idea how it started or why it even chose that specific place to grow. However, my current skin routine has definitely helped decrease them and clear up my skin much more, to the point where I feel comfortable going out bare faced (which rarely happens!)
So what do I use?
Morning
Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel
I’m going to start off by saying that all of these products (minus one) are simple products. Why? Simple products are well, simple, it's as easy as that. They don’t have millions of chemicals and ingredients that none of us understand, but basic ones that work for your face. Hence why I choose them over other facial washes. I also particularly like the fact that they don’t have any animal ingredients as I'm not a big fan of spreading animal fat on my face *eww*
I first wash my face with warm water to open my pores and add a tiny amount of the gel and work in a circular motion around my face. I then wash it off with cold water to close the pores. Rather than scrubbing your face with a cloth to dry it, i dab it on my face as your skin is still sensitive.
Simple Kind To Skin Pore Minimising Toning Cleaner
I then go in with my toner. I put a small amount on a cotton pad and rub it around my face, helping reduce pores and keeping your face feeling fresh!
Simple Kind To Skin Protecting Light Moisturiser
I let my face rest a bit to soak up the toner and go in with the moisturiser. The simple moisturiser is great since it already includes SPF, keeping your face nice and protected but also smooth and hydrated! I also love this product as the moisturiser is light and therefore when applying my makeup i don't feel like I have a slimy/ shiny face (which is always a benefit)
Night
Neutrogena visibly clear 2- in -1
Right! this product is the gold one, the winner. I recently love using the product as I truly see a difference the difference it has made on my skin with it reducing that one area on my face.  I apply it exactly the same way as I do with my morning wash but be warned that this product can really sting the eyes! I often feel my eyes are slightly burning when I put this product on my face, possibly due to the perfume that is put in the wash. So make sure you wash your face out really well and close your eyes!
Simple Kind To Skin Night Cream
Lastly, before I go to sleep I like to put some night cream on to once again hydrate my face as I’m asleep. I put the bare minimum on my face as it's really rich, so a little truly goes a long way! Even when I wake up my face is still moisture and not dried out as it used to be.
Sometimes its just a hit & miss before you find the right products that work for you and your skin, so don't give up, those spots will vanish eventually!
I hope you were able to take some useful information out of this post and try them for yourselves.
Much Love,
Mona xo
