Lately got crazy about my life, busy with work, trying to clear my head from dating, busy schedule and all that is going on. It is so hard for us modern girls to get ahead of all the daily duties but we gotta try. So let’s get back into action.
Wanted to post this comparison review in so long and finally we are here. Still cannot find my perfect Foundation but these two are the strongest contenders so far.
Couple months ago I purchased L.A. Girl Pro Coverage and Milani 2in1 foundations. They are both very similar and different in their own way. A lot of bloggers tend to compare both so I thought I give it a shot. Let’s see pros and cons of each foundation so you out there could see which one suits you best.
Price: Milani retails around 10 euro or $USD while L.A. Girl goes for around 11-12 euro or $USD. Milani wins!
Packaging/product: Both have a pump which is great. L.A. Girl foundation’s pump is a little more messy and feels cheaper so in this case I prefer Milani.
Milani contains 1 FL. OZ/30 ml and L.A. girl has 0.95 FL. OZ/ 28 ml of the product itself so Milani wins again in this category!
Formula/Coverage: Here is where the biggest difference is. While L.A. Girl Pro Coverage Foundation is more illuminating and liquid the Milani one is much thicker and high coverage. Coverage wise I do prefer Milani, however for daily use I do believe that it is way to thick to wear on your face. They both do help you to cover any problem areas you might have but Milani does it a little bit better.
Both foundations are more of a satin/dewy finish. Tho Milani might be more matte/satin finish and looks a lot drier on your skin so if you have dry skin then a dewy primer would be a good option.
Also, blending is a little easier with L.A. Girl Pro coverage foundation as the formula is more liquid. Neither of foundations make me break out or look dry/oily in certain areas as my skin tends to do that a lot.
Lasting power: Milani stays on my skin cetainly longer than her competitor. Also, it controls the oils on my face much better. As L.A. Girl foundation is illuminating it does not set your skin so good and oil control in this case isn’t as good. So Milani for the win in this category for sure!
Shade range: Both foundations have a lot of different shades. I got both lightest shades of the products – L.A. Girl Pro coverage foundation in Porcelain and Milani 2 in 1 founation in 00A Porcelain as well.
Tho L.A. Girl is known for having a lot of shades for deeper skin tones. However, from my point of view, I look for very fair shades and their lightest shades are a little bit orange for my fair complexion. For summer it works, but not very excited about lightening it with a mixer every time I use it.
Personally, in this round Milani wins because their lightest shade matches me perfectly but for deeper skin tones might be otherwise. P.S. Milani has large range of shades as well.
Overall, both of these foundations are great. I’m going to say, if you are looking for light-weight product that works well with drier skin and has a dewy effect, tho still keeps medium coverage then go for L.A. Girl Pro Coverage. Tho if you have very fair skin, then probably you won’t be able to find the exact shade match for your skin tone.
And if you are looking for medium/full coverage heaver foundation that still feels more or less light-weight, has great lasting power, is of matte/satin finish, and works better with oilier/combo skin, also has better fair shades then this is perfect for you.

So, which ever foundation you go for I am sure you will be happy, tho this time I am choosing Milani!
