This is why I get on my bike

Every year myself and a couple of friends Participate in The Ride to Conquer Cancer. The Ride is a 2 day, 200km cycling event starting in downtown Toronto and finishing at Niagara Falls. It benefits the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto which is one of the top cancer hospitals in the world.

This event is very personal to me as I have worked at the hospital, known people who have been treated there and have also been a patient there briefly (thankfully only for tests).

I’m hoping to be recovered enough by June to participate in my 10th Ride
