HNY

Happy New Year everyone.

I really hope Oh-6 is a better year than 2005, on every level, and for EVERYONE.
I don't think I need to go into the whole list, we all know the main shit that went wrong, that has affected us all in one way or another this year, so I guess once we add all our individual stuff on top of that.....mine anyway and yadah yaddah; bad year, hope for a better one, starting with yaddah yaddah.

Personally, it has been a tough year, summed up by spending most of today watching a Will & Grace marathon on cable. What exactly that says about my year I don't know, but I'm sure its wrong wrong wrong.
It was bullshit hot today also...43C (approx 120-130F), so even if Will and Grace weren't on, I'd have stuck down in front of the TV anyway.

Currently deciding whether or not to go into the city and watch the fireworks tonight, but I did that last year - which was truly the beginning of a crappy Two Thousand an' Five, besides, seen 'em once yaddah yaddah. Double besides, providing the smaller fireworks are fired off around the Bay (the fire weather plus Fireworks are not a good mix), I'll see them from home.

On the other hand, it's gonna be damn hot again tonight, which of course means no sleep anyway, so I may as well do something.
But on the other hand yet again, which I think takes me to hand number four or something now, the city will be crowded and unless one has good company, it'll actually be boring as hell just waiting around for a few minutes of fireworks then getting a train home at 2 or 3 in the morning again.

So, I'm tipping I'll be staying right here.

Anyhoo, time to shower (again).

I truly hope you all have a great night and a great Twenty-Oh-Six.

UPDATE>>>>

Oh...PS

In another signal of what my year amounted to in total, I went through my wardrobe today and did a massive bunch of washing and clothe sorting.
That's all.
