How it works
You set up the discount parameters, generate a special link and promote it on your web-site, YouTube video or other sales channels. The discount will be available only to the end-user visiting your music or audio preview page through the special link. Regular Price of the item available for other users of the marketplace won’t be affected.
What benefits does this have for you
This feature gives you a great marketing tool to experiment with the final price offered to the end-user. You can lower price by percentage or propose the final price, so the end-user will see a notice of Special Discount available only to him/her. You’re even allowed to increase the price for the end-user and in this case, end-user won’t get any notice.
What else can you do with this tool
We went even beyond and added one more useful feature for you to offer a discount: When visiting the item preview page, end-user will see the regular price and if he/she is happy with the price can proceed to the purchase process in a regular way with regular price, but if the end-user decides to leave a page, or close the window, he/she will be prompted about a discount available and an option to stay on the page to proceed with the purchase with a special discounted price.
You’re also eligible to set an expiration period for your link, so the link will automatically expire in a certain period and a regular price will be shown to end-users visiting through the link. Once the link expires you’ll need to generate a new one to let end-users get a discount.
How to set up a discount
Visit your item preview page, find and click on the link “Set a discount for this item”. In the pop up window, set everything the way you like and copy/paste the generated link to your web-site, YouTube video description, BLOG, etc. That’s all, your item is ready to receive end-users and offer them a discount.
Limitations
There are some limitations on setting up a discount for your item: the final price of the standard license can’t be set less than $1 and higher than $49. Also, discount percentage can’t be less than 5% and higher than 95%.
You’re not allowed to promote the discount link on LuckStock Marketplace itself (your profile, item preview page).
