| X.U.M.M. Live and Spoonful Records Presents: The Legendary DJ Mix Master Ice |
MixMaster Ice is an important piece in the history of Hip Hop Music. For those who don’t know, Mix Master Ice was a DJ in the hip-hop group UTFO, most famous for their song Roxanne, Roxanne. Harlem born and bred and raised in Brooklyn he has been an Ohio resident since the mid 90's.
UTFO (which stands for Untouchable Force Organization) is a hip hop group, popular in the 1980's, that was mentored by the contemporary R&B group Full Force. The group consisted of the Kangol Kid (Shiller Shaun Fequiere), the Educated Rapper (Jeffrey Campbell) (also known as EMD), Doctor Ice (Fred Reeves), and Mix-Master Ice (Maurice Bailey).
The event is part of X.U.M.M. Live series which gives you, the fan, a front row intimate seat with your favorite emerging, as well as established, artists in the urban music industry.
The legendary Mix Master Ice will spin beats, speak on hip-hop history past, present and future.
This event will be held Saturday April 30, 2016 2 pm- 4 pm at: Spoonful Records located at: 116 E Long Street Columbus, Ohio 43215.
