William Fitzsimmons, His Beard and Gold In The Shadow

William Fitzsimmons is more than perfectly good face under a mass of an unattractive beard. He is the man behind the wonderful album Gold In The Shadow, released last year. There are many reviews I’ve read that think this isn’t his strongest album. And although I agree on Gold in the Shadow not being the best, I won’t deprive the songs that did stand out. Still staying true to his mellow folk and soothing indie style, but with more captivating lyrics like the ones from his passionate yet gentle song “Beautiful Girl,” and the dreamy “Psychasthenia”.

** are the better tracks of this album. Listen and download in the links below.

The Tide Pulls from the Moon**
Beautiful Girl**
The Winter from Her Leaving**
Fade And then Return
Psychasthenia**
Bird of Winter Prey
Wounded Head**
Let you Break
Tied to Me**
What Hold**
