Strange Boy – Annunciation

To start the week we’ve got a mesmerising cut of soaring electronica single from British duo Strange Boy.

Recorded on the outskirts of Paris by Jonathan Lefèvre-Reich and mastered by Icelandic composer Valgeir Sigurðsson of Bedroom Community, Annunciation sees vocalist and composer Kieran Brunt and electronic producer Matt Huxley create a rich, cinematic soundscape. One that ebbs and flows from fragility to strength, pierced only by the Brunt’s other-worldly vocals of anxiety and self-reflection.

Annunciation is out now on a Glass Guts, new label set up by Brunt and Walrus friend Marcus Brooke-Smith of A Pocket Full of Seeds. The EP will be out 17 November.
