There is no doubt that Celeste Buckingham is a rising star with the world at her feet. Not only is she a singer, songwriter, musician, actor, writer, but she is also a judge on Slovakia’s X Factor.

She may still be a young woman but she has already set Europe alight and is looking to do the same around the rest of the world.

But who is this supremely talented young woman? Beautiful, talented young starlets in their early twenties are not exactly in short supply. So what sets Celeste Buckingham apart from the rest? Don’t they all have the same story?

Well, not in Celeste’s case. That’s why we want to uncover the REAL Celeste Buckingham and tell her story.

Celeste Buckingham’s Beginnings

Celeste began life twenty-three years ago in Zurich, Switzerland, born to parents of different nationalities and from wildly different backgrounds. Thanks to her parents’ different nationalities, Celeste herself holds multiple citizenships including American and Swiss.

This is why, having already conquered Europe, it is so personally important to her to make a mark in America, a country that she considers one of her homes.

When Celeste’s father landed a job as a cardiologist in Anchorage, Alaska, the Family was keen to move to America, his motherland, where Celeste also ended up spending the first few years of her childhood.

However, they weren’t there for long. In fact it was four years before the Buckingham family made the move and settled in Slovakia. Although Celeste’s parents were keen to return to Europe it seems that Switzerland no longer held the same attraction for them. Celeste’s father, Thomas, needed to make sure he had a solid job before moving the family again and when the offer from Slovakia came through the family were ready to move.

The plan had been to stay in Slovakia for one year before moving on to another country, but Slovakia proved to have its own unique charm which made the young family feel like they had found their home.

Celeste was three when her family landed in Slovakia and she grew up in a municipality called Borinka with her younger sister, Carmel. It was here that she began taking her first steps towards a life in the entertainment industry.
