10 Moving Songs

Why am I Writing About Moving?

This is not a list of emotionally Moving songs, it’s much more literal than that. We’re in the middle of moving house, and wow, it’s exciting but exhausting! Packing, carrying, moving, unpacking. We’re packing up two separate homes to move in together.

I needed to write a new post, and I thought, what would be more appropriate than a list of songs with the word move or moving in the title? It’s not a ‘Top 10’ list as such. There’s no particular order to the songs. However, it does include some great tracks, so, sit back and enjoy.

Moving On Up – M People

Released in September 1993, this was the seventh single by M People. It was the second single from their album ‘Elegant Slumming’.

I Feel the Earth Move – Carole King

A big hit for Carole King in 1971, from her album ‘Tapestry’.

Moves Like Jagger – Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera
