Dan Bettridge Continues To Make Waves With 'Asking For Trouble' (Wave Three)

Dan Bettridge, a man known for his soothing vocals and solid guitar work, has released the next instalment of his Debut Album, 'Asking For Trouble.' This instalment, called 'Wave Three,' consists of four tracks. I have given my ears to each of these songs, and I have to say for those who are fans of country, you’re in for a real treat with these songs. Dan blends rock and country exceedingly well with each track, but it’s more of a soft rock you can slow dance to. In the track titled 'Undercover', the portion of the song where it’s nothing but a clean guitar riff gave me lovely vibes that I had to listen to it several times over.
Dan made his debut at SXSW earlier this year and his musical influences stem from his parents’ record collection which included James Taylor, Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan. Combined with his love for current artists such as Frank Ocean, The War On Drugs, Childish Gambino and John Mayer amongst others Dan Bettridge has honed his own sound. His debut album, which has been released in waves, has been played across Spotify with ‘Asking For Trouble’ (Wave One) & ‘Asking For Trouble’ (Wave Two) picking up thousands of streams already and will culminate with the full ‘Asking For Trouble’ album set to be released across CD, Vinyl and digital on July 6th.
Dan is also releasing a brand new YouTube series which he says "is a chance for me to introduce those who inspire or intrigue me to an audience who I think with love them too. Artists of all kinds, people within and around the music world, everything. An opportunity for me to find out what makes them tick and doing it from an easy, neutral environment, my car!” Subscribe
