Ever since the BMW R Nine T was introduced, we have seen some stunning custom builds. Winston Yeh of Rough Crafts, has created one of our favorite R Nine T customs to date so far. This BMW R Nine T Cafe Racer named “Fistfighter” is a true example of classic racer styling. Don’t let the classic styling fool you though, this thing has top notch components and performance to match.
Winston wanted to pay homage to the long standing history of BMW’s classic styling. This bike is complete evidence of that. The one off custom aluminum tank and seat are closely designed to capture the styling of the earlier 1970’s models. Additionally, the front fairing has that classic vintage racer look housing the custom headlight and oil cooler.
What is all that amazing classic styling without matching performance. Well Winston did not forget that part haha. The brakes are upgraded with Beringer master cylinders connected to calipers that stop the custom made 330mm rotors. In the rear, the shock has been upgraded with a Gears Racing custom adjustable unit.
To finish off the controls, Winston went with one of our favorite products. Motogadget Aluminum M-grips capped off with the M-blaze barend turn signals create a nice clean look. For foot controls, he went with a set of billet aluminum Sato rearsets.
Most of Winston’s bike have that signature Rough Craft styling and color scheme. This bike is no exception and to finish it off he went with a Black finish that has a carbon fiber texture added to it. Bringing it all together is beautifully done pinstripping that adds additional classic styling.
If you have not been following Rough Crafts, you have been missing out. Since this build, they have been pumping out some amazing custom bikes that have gone viral on social media and created buzz all over the industry.
