Sabor Restaurant

Founded by Nieves Barragan and José Etura, Sabor takes you on a journey from the tapas bars of Andalucía through to the asadors of Castile and the seafood restaurants of Galicia. Nieves and José will focus on capturing the flavour of Spain as well as showcasing the use of traditional ingredients and cooking methods, and a relaxed approach to dining.
Located on Heddon Street, Sabor has three distinct areas – The Counter and bar on the ground Floor and the El Asador on the first floor, each space offers a different taste and experience of Spanish cuisine and hospitality.
On the Ground Floor share The Counter at Sabor, with the chefs, and choose from a changing daily menu of fresh fish prepared for you by Sabor’s in-house fishmonger, alongside regional dishes from across Spain, including those from the Basque country and Catalonia.
Journey up the spiral staircase to the first floor El Asador at Sabor, sit on large communal tables overlooking the open kitchen, and enjoy a different Spanish dining experience from The Counter at Sabor on the ground floor. With specialities from the Galicia and Castile regions, dishes are cooked in the traditional wood fired oven, or ‘asador’, sourced by from Castille, or large copper pans brought to London especially from Galicia.
Stand at the poseur tables in the Sabor bar and order from the selection of Spanish vermouths, gins, sherries, txakolis, wines and beers, from Barcelona down to Jerez. You’re encouraged to act as a local Andalusian after enjoying your drinks and tapas, and throw your paper napkins on the floor in appreciation of the food!
