Today is the very first World Cord Blood Day and is a way to help educate people about cord blood across the globe. As the world of medicine continues to advance, cord blood use is quickly evolving to include regenerative therapies beyond transplant medicine.

Organized by Save the Cord Foundation, World Cord Blood Day is a day aimed to educate parents and healthcare professionals about current uses for cord blood stem cells and highlight the exciting research that is happening using cord blood for regenerative medicine.
