Ridgefield, NJ – July 2018 — GD is proud to announce and welcome Cathy Vonk as a new team member on the GD Responsive Innovation team. Cathy will be contributing as a Staff Writer for GD’s award-winning solutions for hospitals and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). She will be working closely with all departments here at the headquarters in Ridgefield, New Jersey.

After earning her English degree from Montclair State University, Cathy garnered over 10 years’ experience in the marketing field; she has worked for a wide array of clients, including architects, engineers, medical practitioners, and food distribution corporations. Her past projects include proposals and presentations for nationally-recognized construction contracts; website and brochure maintenance for a holistic medical practice; and marketing outreach and newsletter creation for a food re-distribution corporation. More recently, Cathy has been enjoying a position with a state environmental agency, where her functions include event planning and coordination. Ms. Vonk definitely likes to keep her career varied! As such, when the opportunity to join the GD family presented itself, Cathy jumped at the chance to get back to her writing roots and learn about a new, always-evolving industry. When she can find a minute or two, she enjoys hiking, yoga, trying new vegan comfort food recipes, and attempting to garden (with mixed results…).
