Although there is some debate as to whether the term “self-made” is accurate in her case, since she is from a rich family and all, there is no doubt she has become quite the successful businesswoman. Kylie has a passion for makeup and fashion, so she focused her business on that. Business leaders should also play to their passions. I have a spot in my house, my creative room, and we just have meetings after meetings.” Business leaders need to know what is going on with their business.

  • Anticipate market needs

According to Kylie, she thinks about what sort of product she would want and what other people would want. If she finds a market need, she tries to fill it, such as creating a perfect color match for lip liner and lipstick. Successful businesses need to be able to anticipate market needs so they can try to fill it before someone else does.
