Soweto is perhaps South Africa’s most iconic tourist destination. Most visitors opt for visits to places like Mandela’s House, the Apartheid Museum, Hector Petersen Museum and the several touristy restaurants and other attractions in and around Vilakazi Street.
With Youth Day only a couple of days away, most people will be looking for some cool spots to enjoy the day and celebrate their youth. The Soweto Youth Festival, which will see a blend of fashion, food, music, workshops and gaming, is a great way to celebrate the occassion.
