If you’re looking for something to do, stop by the Dayton Air Show

Since Dayton is the birthplace of aviation, it’s only right that we celebrate the beginning of summer with the annual air show! This Saturday and Sunday, head to the Dayton International Airport to be dazzled with heart-pounding air performances and aviation-themed activities. It’s always a fun, family-friendly event.

This weekend is also Dayton’s Festival on the Hill!

This Friday and Saturday, enjoy food and music on the grounds of the Dayton Masonic Center overlooking the city. There will also be a motorcycle rally supporting Special Olympics Ohio.

Kick back and enjoy some TV-time with Abstract

We’re really enjoying this Netflix original documentary series that highlights the lives and ideas of creative individuals. Each episode focuses on a designer, whether it’s an architect, shoe designer, illustrator, graphic designer, photographer, or another creative influencer. Check it out for some inspiration this weekend!

Tech update: Can your devices be works of art?

Samsung seems to think so. They’ve introduced a classy new TV that when turned off, displays high-resolution paintings, drawings, and photographs instead of a black screen. While we could probably all use less screen time, designing technology that better integrates into our homes sounds pretty neat.
