Photographer’s Comments: “Jake and Camilla’s Bird Themed wedding decor mainly consisted of feathers, birdcages, and Baby’s Breaths. They even had bouquets and boutonnieres made with feathers!
“One personal aspect from this wedding that I really enjoyed was during the wedding reception, these two had their guests tell a story about the bride or groom to get the couple to kiss instead of the clanking glasses. Their moms started the stories and it was all tears from there!”

Their Story
“These two met way back when Jake was 15 and Camilla was 14 while participating in sports through a home school group.
“Fast forward eight years later to May 19, 2015. Jake blindfolded Camilla and drove her to Nerstrand National Park in Minnesota. Jake lead her (still blindfolded) down a long, rocky, and windy path to a waterfall. When they reached the waterfall’s edge, he lifted the blindfold and bent down on one knee. He used American Sign Language to sign, ‘Will you marry me?'”
