Social Networking- Is it a boon or curse during wedding functions?

What’s your take over such activities and flooding one’s timeline!

However, social media has some rules and etiquettes. Having a facebook profile simply does not entitle you to post, share, and comment or like anything which is not solely yours. Posting information on these social media sites is not good etiquettes.

It can be someone’s day disaster as that person might not like getting tagged into any of your pictures or statuses.

Social media if not used cautiously can create a lot of havoc and difficulties for many people. Often people forget what social media etiquettes are and how important it is to follow them for it may be important for the hosts of the wedding too. But sadly this is the case, we are mere slaves of our mobile phones and the social media app on them.

Is it a Boon or Bane during Wedding Planning?

Check what Statistics has to tell and alarm all of us who are social networking freaks~

75 per cent of people use Facebook to upload pictures and check in during the wedding day.

While on Instagram, around 50 to 60 percent people share photos during the ceremony.

The other 30 to 40 per cent guests tweet and share images while attending the event.

However, there is a small percentage (25-20 percent) are not shared on any social media websites while attending the wedding.

So hopefully there are people who still believe in living the moment and not just capturing/posting it.

It is to be understood that throughout this course of writing, we have never been against the use of social media rather concerned over the addiction that we have for it. Nonetheless, youth now a days is equally responsible and sensible so a few reminders now and then would do no harm!

When used correctly with ethics, Social Media for wedding can be really informative and helps in easy wedding planning with the help of creative events on Facebook Page, getting RSVP from the guests for who all are attending and avoiding Food Wastage.
