Scrubs

I can't believe it's taken me so long, but I recently decided to start watching Scrubs. I had only seen snipits of the show before two weeks ago, and I have to admit, I was intrigued, but it never really captured me. Two weeks ago, however, I started at Season 1 episode 1 and have, since then, blown through 60 episodes in 12 days. I just can't get enough. Like Arrested Development, Scrubs offers a comedy that is innovative, fun, dramatic, and does not need to hammer their humour home with a laugh track, but instead gives it's viewers enough credit to decide what to laugh at. (If you are like me, however, you will be laughing throught the whole show anyway). Scrubs also hosts a diverse and phenomenal cast of characters, including a dynamic duo of Zach Braff and Donald Faison as Dr. Dorion and Dr. Turk, complimented by a supporting cast of Sarah Chalke (Dr. Reed), Judy Reyes (Nurse Espinosa), Jen Jenkins (Dr. Kelso), Neil Flynn (Janitor), Sam Lloyd (Ted), and topped off by John C. McGinley (Any Given Sunday, Office Space) as Dr. Perry Cox - a man who's metaphores, analogies and sarcastic rants bring the show to the highest levels of entertainment. Great show, great messages, great stories, great acting, and a whole bunch of great cameo appearances. My recommendation - check this show out!
