Hello! Happy Valentine’s day! Yeeees, you’re blogging about your boyfriends, and that is me and my dad and I am blogging about my one and only King.

Not because I have no boyfriend, I can always call D as my bebe Love. I just want to be a Luna in a world of Hermiones. (Yeah, you all loved Hermione and no one noticed how great Luna was.)

I am a Mama’s girl, but a king is a king. My father is my inspiration growing up - smart, kind, silent. Though he wasn’t able to finish highschool, I look up to him and idolize his wit. He was the reason why I excelled in Math, trying to be like him. I can still remember my “wow” reaction when I first learned he knows multiplication very well (even with large numbers) he doesn’t even need a calculator or a pen and paper. He’s a fast-thinker I thought. I wanted to be like him sooo much, I almost perfected the Math. From him, I also learned and loved reading and solving Puzzles. He likes reading newspapers and solving the puzzles inside. I remember running out of puzzles to solve so my sister bought me booklets of puzzles (crossword and Sudoku). I secretly hoped my dad was jealous.

He also is very kind. He’s never been short-tempered. And he appreciates small things. Uhm. Though sometimes he’s a bit choosy, I know deep inside, he’s touched. He also helps other people as an officer of the local Senior Citizens’ organization. We have no enough money or things to share to the poor, but he tries to help them as well by acknowledging their efforts and giving small amount to get through the day.

When I was still studying, he never asked and required me to get high grades. I was honestly expecting that because I hear my friends’ parents and how they push their children to do well, and I knew my older siblings wasn’t able to stay in the highest sections. But never in my life my dad pressured me, so I know he trusts me so much.

How I call him: Daddy (Papa when talking to friends)
The best of him: He’s smart, kind, and silent.
What I hate: His jokes are often corny but I still have to laugh.
He’s the reason why: I am what and where I am now.

About the picture, I was thinking of a non-cheesy photo I can share. I thought of puzzles and newspapers but I’m giving you those eyeglasses as a symbol of our nerdiness.
