Plaza Damas has been off my radar for quite some time but I have been eyeing some beautiful and super healthy looking Smoothie bowls on Instagram. They originate in a little cute café called Rubberduck.
Lovely outside area on the pedestrian part of Hartamas Shopping Centre is a lovely spot to enjoy a good, strong cup of coffee, healthy juice and one of those pretty bowls. They have a menu full of options if you are in need of something more substantial, or treats for the kids.
The bowls were pretty in person, too. A substantial amount of ice cold smoothie topped with fresh fruit, granola and a sprinkle of chia seeds, yum! It is a lot of fruit though – why did that surprise me? – so may not be for those who prefer their breakfast savoury.
Next time I’ll bring along the kids, who most certainly will opt for the pancakes if given the chance. The prices are quite agreeable with smoothie bowls starting at RM14 and most other dishes around RM20.
