I had coffee with a friend today and realized that I am far to quick to over-estimate myself and where I am in my life, which admittedly is not where I want it to be, and under-estimate others. My friend, I came to find out, is a Homeowner. Now that in and of itself is no gigantic accomplishment, but it really demonstrates that she has her shit together. I am not a homeowner and being that I recently filed bankruptcy and am currently unemployed the likelihood of me becoming one is zero, demonstrating how much my shit is apart.

The lesson to learn from this is I am not nearly as together as I believe I am.
