MAC recently came out with a brand new collection called Girls. They are essentially “personality palettes” with different shades and styles to them. I was sent Fashion Fanatic, which ironically is the most me out of all the palettes in the collection. The palettes all have 8 eyeshadows and a highlighter in them. I used mine to create this heavenly purple eye look that has a lot of shimmer to it. Full details inside!

The Fashion Fanatic palette consists of warm pink and purple shades. I absolutely love wearing purple on my eyes because it really makes my eye color pop.

To get the look, I used the lavender shade you see in the palette in my crease, and then fine-tuned it with the slightly darker purple shade above and slightly to the right of it. I used the shimmering purple-pink shade next to that purple all over my eyelid.

I was super impressed by the formulation these shadows had. They were pigmented, smooth, and not at all chalky. I do believe the pressed eyeshadow formula is all new, and I have to say that MAC did a really great job.
