On Day 8 of  12 Days of Holiday Style we’re heading home with what to wear to a Family Holiday Party. Obviously this depends on your family’s dress code. My family lives in San Diego so we’re all about casual holiday party outfits. My friend’s family has fancier cocktail attire. But for something in between, I like the combination of an embellished sweater and festive pant.

An embellished sweater keeps you cozy but still adds just enough sparkle for the holiday season. I thought this beaded love sweater (only $29.99) was quite fitting since family equal loves for me.

If your family is super casual like mine, you can pair the sweater with jeans. But for a little more festive look, I like the sweater with a sparkly pant. I went with sequin pants (on sale for only $24.43). You could also do brocade, velvet or any other material that makes you feel like the holiday season.
