I’ve always prided myself on being a Type A planner (you might remember my color coded calendar from my organizing hacks video). But somehow during fashion week, plans always change. Such was the case for day two when nothing seemed to go as scheduled. Here’s a peek inside my day:

NYFW Day 2

{8am} Catch up on emails, blogging and get ready for my day.
{10am} Arrive to my 10am show wondering why it’s so empty.
{10:15am) Learn I’m a day early. So much for my perfect calendar!
{11am} Shoot my outfit a day early since I’m already dressed then change into my next look.
{12pm} Pop into a pampering suite at the Plaza Hotel. Take photos on the snowy balcony and marvel at the view.
{2pm} Take in Milly‘s “Fractured” runway. Her clothes express the feeling of the times. But it’s pure beauty in the destruction.
{3pm} Attempt to shoot my outfit on The Highline. Realize I’m unable to snap a pic without clattering my teeth. Head back to Soho instead.
{4pm} Have a glass of Sauvingon Blanc with my friend Mary. Download her Trove app.
{6pm} Bop my head as Nicole Miller‘s modern 90s grunge models dance down the runway.
{7pm} Swing by ShopStyle Social House and pick out some cute pieces to wear the next day.
{9pm} Arrive back to the Nomo Soho where my friends oh so nicely have already ordered me bolognese.
{10pm} More friends arrive for drink. I’m exhausted but am convinced to stay and catch up.
{12am} My comfy bed catches me as I collapse.
