Fabio Wardley admitted to being ever so slightly distracted during his fight on Saturday night.
The heavyweight prospect – managed by Dillian Whyte – appeared on Whyte’s undercard at the O2 Arena, and was boxing comfortably after three rounds.
While receiving instructions having headed back to his corner, Wardley then interrupted his trainers and asked: ‘We going Five Guys after?’
Upon hearing confirmation that would indeed get his post-fight burger, the motivated 24-year-old went back out and stopped his opponent Mariano Strunz.
Wardley moved to 8-0 (7 KOs) with this victory, the most important of his fledgling career to date.
