Day 14 – My Car

Today my car has made me happy, this is because I am able to have such a freedom when using it. Owning a car for me is a conflict, I love nature and protecting it but then I’m willing to drive around all day in my car with the fumes damaging the environment, although without my car I would struggle with some of my day to day things.

So my car has made me happy for a couple reasons today: 1. Aircon, I don’t very often use my aircon, I live in England so it’s a rarity anyway but were currently going through a heat wave and today is especially hot and I need to drive to my parents/sisters but I need to go down some fast roads and having your window open isn’t really an option without blowing your head off so aircon has become my friend today. 2: Time, I’ve been in a bit of a rush, finish work, drive to my sisters, then drive to my parents and then drive back to near where I live pick my partner up on the way and do dinner, if I was getting the bus everywhere I probably wouldn’t have been able to finish all my busy tasks, so today this is why my Car has made me happy.
