Aquarius Lunar Eclipse 2017

This is the Full Moon that precedes the late July Leo New Moon at 0° Leo. It falls in the middle of the arc as we move towards the Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017.

The Lunar Eclipse can emotionally prepare you for the revelations and push that may come towards the end of the month. What emotions, memories, situations do you need to integrate? This Full Moon is lit by the Sun in Leo; the eclipse happens when the Earth passes right between them. So the Aquarian Moon goes dark as the Earth (the material plane) shrouds it. The light of the individual (Leo) expresses itself within the collective (Aquarius). But the eclipse suggests it’s time for a reboot.

An eclipse upsets the natural order of things, so we are thrown out of our comfort zone, no matter how subtle it is. Yet eclipses ARE part of the natural order, reminding us that chaos precipitates change.

It doesn’t matter if you are in Eastern Time where this happens at 2:11 PM or on the other side of the globe where it’s night and you can see the darkening moon.

The energy of the eclipse has an effect, whether you can see it or not.
