5 Lies Your Mind Wants You To Believe

Mind lies because its the easy way out from problems. Lying feeds the fear inside us, with every single lie the fear inside us becomes stronger. You will be a winner or a loser! Its decided by what you think and what you do. Your mind is that intangible abstract world which is full of thoughts, feelings, ideas that controls your actions. But sometimes these captivating false signals will hold you back in the position where you are and will never let you move ahead. Here are 5 lies that your mind want you to believe, which you need to overcome.

1. My Life Is Harder Than Everyone Else Out There

This one is the biggest excuse people use to give up by thinking that they are in the worst condition. There are billions of people out there who are trying to cope with their problems everyday. Look around and anyone you see has their own demons to deal with. And that simply is life. You just have to deal with it doing nothing and complaining is not going to help. You might have never ventured far down enough, or never been in a difficult situation in life and you just want to stay in your comfort zone. Maybe any obstacle that comes your way seems big enough that you resolve to quit. But I got news for you: you keep that up and you can never go anywhere in life. Face the world. Face your fears. Face yourself. The only thing worth quitting is the habit of quitting.
"Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it."

Charles R. Swindoll

2. I Don’t Have Enough Time

Everyone in this world has 24hrs in a day. You have to do whatever it takes in this time period to make your day productive. It's all about how you are spending it, whether you are stalking on your crush’s new pic for 100th time on social media or binging on 'beginner to advanced' courses online. Don't go to bed at night until you feel like you have learnt something new or achieved something. Just, stop complaining and wasting time on worthless stuff. Pick up a hobby you are good at and if you are not good at it, get good at it. Keep yourself engaged don't just sit around doing nothing. If you wait for right time to start that's never going to come because "right time to start something" is a myth. The right time is now.  Wasting time is not good for your confidence either.
"The time is always right to do what is right."

Martin Luther King, Jr.

3. It Won’t Work, I Already Tried Once

It is impossible to live without ever failing at something in life. There are very few things out there which one can accomplish with one try. I say trying again and again is what that brings you success. Your Failure at something shouldn’t be an excuse to give up! Instead use that failure to learn and don’t make that mistake again. Without failure we would be less capable of compassion and kindness. After all it’s the failure that gives success its real value. So, don’t be afraid of trying again....and again.
"Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently."

Henry Ford

4. Just Do It For The Last Time

Doing stuff thinking “just once” is completely fine but the bitter truth is that rarely works out for the best. Once you have done something by thinking this then your mind will try to pull more stuff by giving you this same excuse. In real time doing things by saying “just once” doesn’t worth it. This will increase your potential of doing wrong things again and again. Condition yourself to stop making this kind of decisions.
"People just make stupid mistakes. And they keep making them and keep making them, and suddenly they can't dig themselves out."

Karin Slaughter

5. Life should Be Enjoyed More And Live It The Way It Is

There's lot of bullshit going out there, people saying enjoy your life you just live once blah! blah!. I am not saying life shouldn’t be enjoyed but to a limit. You must be smart enough to distinguish between a lazy unproductive way of Enjoying life and the active productive way of living it. Because sometimes enjoying life makes you lazy and will justify all your lazy behaviors like sitting the whole day on your couch and eating Nutella spread or spending ten hours scrolling your Facebook feed. It just says that your time isn’t valuable. And you will never feel like coming out of your shell. Because you will be living in an illusion that “you are enjoying life”. Living and enjoying life like this could be a grave mistake.
