Our absolute favorite place to visit when my kids were little was the zoo. We lived near the Norfolk Zoo at the time and on days when it was too nice to be inside, we'd pack a picnic lunch and go see what was new at the zoo. Some of my most favorite memories with my kids were the those trips to the zoo. All of the animals were infinitely interesting to all of us and I always loved the chatter on the way home about all of the cool animals we saw.
