...flipped a coin to let fate decide...

Deciding to move from my hometown was never the hard part; I've wanted to leave since I could remember. Deciding where to go has always been my problem. The world is so big and I want to see it all, so begin where? What do you mean pick a city? Just one?
At this point I probably have about 30 cities that I must visit to cross them off of my bucket list and you want me to pick one? And by 'you,' I mean me. I was forcing myself to pick one city to start out in.
I began talking to my friend, at the time, Micah about all of my dream places I wanted to go. He helped me narrow it down to two cities; Amsterdam and Dublin. Both were on my list, both were beautiful and both of us couldn't choose.
We Flipped a coin instead to decide; heads Dublin and tails Amsterdam. I watched as Micah flipped the coin, it flipping and turning in the air. I watched my future fall from the sky and land in his hand. As he closed his hand around the quarter, it was honestly the first time I'd ever flipped a coin for an answer I didn't already know what I wanted it to be.
Looking at pictures of the place that the quarter called fate on, I was love struck. These beautiful buildings and colorful atmosphere, the canals and bicycles; seriously who could be disappointed that quarter said Amsterdam?
Ever since that night, I have planned to move to Amsterdam and I have never been more excited about anything.
