How to Make Healthy Soup at Work

Not feeling well but still have to go to work? Today we are going to make a quick and easy Soup that isn’t canned or in a bag.

There can be different variations to this soup depending on your taste and your supermarket’s selection.

Start with the stock. Choose whichever you prefer. I went with Chicken because I grabbed a fresh rotisserie chicken from the deli to go in my soup.

There are several frozen vegetables to choose from. I like to go with the one that has some sort of seasoning like the peas and mushrooms in a garlic sauce. There are also other blends to choose from like an Italian style lentils and beans in an garlic Parmesan sauce.

Today I went with the fresh Tortellini, it was on sale and doesn’t take to long to cook.

Place the frozen veggies in a bowl. This is where i added the tortellini too because i fee like it will take about the same amount of time to cook. If you choose something else like the Italian style lentils and beans, follow the directions on the bag and add the chicken stock after. The reason I added the tortellini with the peas and covered in chicken stock is because the tortellini needed time to cook.

Put in microwave for about 3 min. Stir and return to the microwave for however much longer it needs to finish cooking. Mine needed about another minute.

Shred up how ever much chicken that you like, perhaps a leg and a thigh. You will have leftover for more soup tomorrow at work or you can take it home for dinner!

Add the chicken, stir, enjoy and feel better!

Tell me what variations you used!
