guilty (gıit’i): suçlu — guilty of stealing : çalmak­tan suçlu.

sentence (sen’tens): hem (cümle), hem (mahkeme karan) anlatır.

myl lord (may lorci): lord hazretleri burada (pa­şam) anlamına gelir.

that long: bu kadar uzun zaman (idiom), just do the best you can : elinden geleni yap ta… (idiom).

how many times: kaç kez

are you crazy? (ar yu kre’zi) : deli misin, veya çıldırdın mı?

how do you explain? (hau du yu eks’plen): nasıl izah edersiniz?

to come out (tu kam aut): çıkmak.
