أعلنت وزارة الداخلية المصرية في بيان لها عن تمكنها من إلقاء القبض على عصابة “البروفيسور” المتخصصة في سرقة الفيلات والشقق السكنية والسيارات، وتم التحفظ على المسروقات التي تصل قيمتها لأكثر من 100 مليون جنيهاً مصرياً.

وأعلنت الوزارة في بيانها أنه تم القبض على جميع أفراد العصابة وهم، محمود .ط، كمال .ش، علاء .ج، وحمزة ط وسامي .ي، الذين يقيموا في مدينة العبور القليوبية، وبمواجهتهم بالجرائم التي ارتكبوها، أقروا بالقيام بها وأرشدوا عن الشقة التي تحتوي على حصيلة عملياتهم الإجرامية بمدينة العبور.
وأفاد بيان الداخلية بضبط المسروقات والتي تراوحت بين عملات نقدية من مختلف البلدان، والمشغولات الذهبية ومجموعة من الساعات القيمة، كما تم ضبط عدد من الأسلحة النارية والأدوات التي يتم استخدامها في جرائم السرقة، بالإضافة إلى أوراق ومستندات تخص أصحاب الشقق المسروقة.
