~South Indian brand VBJ makes waves at India’s most prestigious Fashion platform, Lakme Fashion Week

~Brand’s maiden foray into Platinum jewellery, gets selected as TOP 5 across India


Hyderabad,27th August, 2019: Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers’ latest handcrafted platinum collection - The Ginkgo Leaf, was previewed at revered fashion platform, the Lakme India Fashion Week. The sneak peek of the exclusive collection was tastefully paraded amid the who’s who from the Jewellery & Fashion industry, present at the event.



VBJ’s 119-year-old legacy of outstanding designs was established yet again, with the all new platinum collection, The Gingko Leaf. Gingko is the world’s oldest surviving tree species in the world and is considered a symbol of strength and beauty, as it holds within it an untold story of a woman’s courage. In addition to symbolizing longevity and endurance; the collection is a tribute to all women who have displayed inner strength in trying times, whilst holding a smile on her face. 

The Diamond Producers Association (DPA) in collaboration with Lakmé Fashion Week, has curated The Real Cut, a unique platform for trusted and established jewellery manufacturers across India, whose forte is natural diamonds. VBJ emerged as one of the top 5 selected from a sea of participants, for ‘The Real Cut’ category, that served as the ideal platform to give jewellery connoisseurs a glimpse of the forthcoming new launch from the brand.

Roni Adhikari, a designer from the in-house Creative Centre of Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers, represented the brand at the event. The bespoke diamond encrusted platinum jewellery elegantly decorated the models & showstoppers, who wore custom- made couture clothing by renowned fashion stylist, Dhruv Kapoor.
