Hindustan Composites zooms 20% as board considers bonus: Hindustan Composites Limited surged 16.22% to Rs 1,847.90 at the morning hours on BSE after its announcement to consider and approve bonus issue of shares. The announcement was made on 22 March 2017.

Hindustan Composites stock had smashed the market over the past one month till 22 March 2017, growing 4.22% compared with 1.05% rise in the Sensex. The company’s net profit rose 37.7% to Rs 12.08 crore on 26% increase in net sales to Rs 51.25 crore in Q3 December 2016 year on year.

Sadbhav Infra Projects rose 7.35% on BSE: Sadbhav Infrastructure Projects Limited rose 7.35% to Rs 103.75 in the morning on BSE after the company said it has been declared lowest bidder for a road project by NHAI on 22 March 2017.

The stock had hit a high and low of Rs 108.35 & Rs 102.30 respectively so far during the day. The stock had done better than the market over the past one month till 22 March 2017, 2.60% compared with 1.41% rise in the Sensex.

Som Distilleries surges on starting supply of beer: Som Distilleries & Breweries surged 14.26% to Rs 138.60 on BSE after its announcement on the supply of Black Fort beer to Karnataka. 22,000 shares were traded on BSE counter against the average daily volumes of 29,000 shares in a fortnight. The stock had hit a high and low of Rs 143.80 and Rs 124.40 respectively during the late morning. The company’s net profit declined 32.94% to Rs 1.71 crore on 6.22% growth in total income, year on year.
