Sensex falls over 700 pts during last week

Heavy profit booking, discouraging global cues and some corporate action news dragged the Sensex index down by 716.05 points, or 4.70%, to 14,521.89 for the week ended Jun. 19, 2009. On the other hand NSE Nifty plunged 269.8 points, or 5.89%, to 4,313.60 in the same period.
