#HODL Gang for Life…
Yeah, we didn’t find shit last month. We barely even talked to each other. But now we’re back! Falcon Finds is a monthly curation of the most interesting things found and shared by the Sneaky Falcon team. These are the articles, ideas, businesses, and more discussed by the group in the month of January.
HODL gang for life
Back to the Moon eventually, yeah?
Kraken Down
The cryptocurrency market had everyone in a tizzy last month, wiping away billions of dollars in Monopoly money from investors across the globe, including yours truly.
But what set some off even more was extended downtime from popular crypto brokerage platform Kraken. Standard maintenance turned into panic as speculation of hackers and theft of funds took over the internet.
Fortunately all was resolved with little issue, but a clear reminder of the sensitivity around the virtual economy.
Banks say “No Crypto for you!”
Speaking of people coming after your god-given right to safely own cryptocurrency, banks are working to block purchases of cryptocurrency using their cards.
Yes, as debate around regulation of bitcoin and others rages on, big banks like BoA and Citi are trying to take a big stand, by blocking their customers from buying Bitcoin and other virtual currencies.
Certainly zero irony in banks not wanting their assets involved in speculation on something with “elevated risk”.
Gettin GIF-y With it
We basically only communicate with each in other via GIFs and memes anymore. This one was another winner.

Google Finance Still Sucks… But…
You may have seen Sean’s rant about the new Google Finance. Yeah. It sucks. Still. But a contender to replace at least some of the portfolio management features may just have come out of the woodwork.
Wallmine not only has a lot of the portfolio features of the old Google Finance, (not to mention the ability to import your old portfolio directly from Finance), but also some slick new updated features. Cryptocurrency is built right in, so you can look at your entire investment portfolio like its 2018. There are also some interesting screening and heat mapping features to play with as well.
Wallmine uses a freemium model, so you can track two portfolios to give it a go, or pay a subscription to unlock even more advanced tools. Sign up for Wallmine here and say goodbye to Google Finance forever..
“Classic bubble… All we have to do is pick the Google off the bottom of the pile now” – Adam G on the Crypto bloodbath of January.
