It looks like Google Maps was developed after releasing a widely popular Map applications. The other companies released a major update early in the month, which enclose new events like longitudinal data for cycling and walking, along with other additional features to the app. Before that Google had released another significant feature of helping flood victims in Kerala, allowing the users to share the location even at offline mode.

Now, the Google Maps application has got another update which gives a new group planning feature. This new feature let the user plan where they want to go as a group.

This feature is very easy to use. Long press on the place displayed in the application where they want to go. Add it to a shortlist and share to your group with whom you plan the trip. You can share using any messaging applications.

All participants added to the group can add or remove additional places. Having confusion in planning the trip, you can call for a vote to select the final place.

The new feature will be really useful when you plan your next trip with your friends. Google has started working out the feature on your Android and iOS devices before the end of the week.

Combine with another application like Split wise, this feature of Google Maps helps your groups of friends taking a trip together.
